Dylan grew up playing baseball in South Florida and his family still resides in Coconut Creek.  After high school he began his baseball career at the Florida Institute of Technology.  After one season at Florida Tech he transferred to Indian River State College.

Dylan would go on to finish his career at Lander University, a South Carolina Division II school that competes in the Peachbelt Conference.  Wolchik really excelled during his two seasons at Lander.  In fact he is still the only pitcher in the history of the conference to lead in wins for back to back seasons.  As the ace of the staff in his senior season he led his team to a Conference Championship as well as a Southeast Regional Tournament championship.  Wolchik was also named the Southeast Regional Tournament MVP and received All-American Honorable Mention.

After finishing his collegiate career with many athletic achievements and a Bachelor of Science degree he began his coaching career in 2014.  Wolchik is currently the Assistant Coach at Limestone College and has head coaching experience in two different collegiate summer leagues.
