The West Boca Snappers are an expansion team making the summer of 2016 their inaugural season in the South Florida Collegiate League.  The Snappers have been founded by Ryan Lamb, who has been working with the South Florida Collegiate League for three years now and was the acting GM of the Delray Beach Lightning for the previous two seasons.  His full biography can be found here.

The Snappers and their players will be making the beautiful Boca Raton, Fla. their home during the summer.  It has been announced that their home field will be Burt Aaronson Park at the South Regional Sports Complex.  The complex is located just west of the Florida Turnpike in Boca and the facilities are second to none in the area.  For more information on all of the West Boca Snappers facilities please click here.

Snappers players will be able to utilize many different resources on and off the field while they are competing here in sunny South Florida.  “It is our goal as an organization to not only give our players a chance to play but also the opportunity to utilize many of the same resources the major leaguers are using,” says Owner Ryan Lamb.  He would go on to say, “We believe that success at the next level has a direct correlation between training, playing and properly taking care of your body simultaneously.”

This is why the Snappers are able to offer their players a full comprehensive baseball program that includes professional coaching, training and medical therapy.  With this extensive program in place Snappers players are not only training off the field to become bigger, faster, stronger; but also receiving therapy treatment routinely allowing them to stay fresh and get the necessary reps on the field as well.

With this professional staff in place along with the proper leadership it is hard to believe that the Snappers Organization and all of their players will be anything but successful in the South Florida Collegiate League.
